Product & Brand Designer

Sep 2025 – present

I’m the sole designer at DataDelves, a Shopify app and theme studio. I built and own the component library the whole team designs from, and I specified one storefront theme end to end — 48 section types and 17 page templates, each with a range and a default chosen so store owners can’t break the page.

I also design the Meta and Google advertising creative, and I write the front-end code, so what I design is what ships.

What 245 settings actually means

A store owner never sees a design file. They see a settings panel, and whatever they do to it is what their customers get. So the design work isn’t the default state — it’s the range around it.

Twelve controls instead of 245, but the idea is the same. Every one is bounded and every default was chosen on purpose — you can change how it looks, you can’t break the layout. Push a slider to its limit and it’ll tell you why the limit is there.

TELUS

Visual Designer & Sales Associate

Oct 2024 – Jan 2026 · Part-time

Print and digital marketing for phone and internet plans, inside TELUS brand guidelines — offer sheets with pricing hierarchy, campaign assets, and online marketplace listings.

I also ran the full sales cycle: wrote the listings, fielded customer questions, closed the sales. Designing the material and then selling with it meant I found out which parts people actually read.

Playable

UX & Print Designer

May – Aug 2025

Printable learning activities for kids, designed in Figma and tested in rounds with the age group they were made for. Each batch of testing changed the next round of designs.

4–5activities designed a week
2–3rounds of testing per activity
5+kids in every testing batch

Not public

Some of it I can only show you in person.

Client theme work, an unreleased product, and the TELUS campaign material can’t sit on a public site. I’m happy to walk through any of it — including the parts that didn’t work.
